The convenience stores and mini supermarkets in Coco are well worth visiting, as they stock a decent selection of necessities, fruits, vegetables, beers, and spirits.
The checkout lines here are also much smaller and prices can be quite comparable at times to the major grocery store chains. Some mini supers even stock dollar-store type items which mean you’re like to visit one sooner or later during your visit.
You’re likely to pass by Cocoliko many times while in Coco, so you’ll probably be amazed at how big it is inside when you finally venture in. Located right across the street from Super Compro, this is the most convenient mini super close to all the bars, and restaurants.
Aside from grocery essentials, there’s a lot of stuff in their dollar-store type inventory that is not available in the bigger chain stores. They also have a decent selection of pet supplies, so if you brought a pet or got attached to a local stray it’s worth your while to compare prices.
If you’re looking for a simple item like a flyswatter, mop head, kitchen utensil, or a specialty item like a small extension cord or a candle holder, you’re likely to find it here.
Super Mini Luperon
If you’re staying in or near Las Palmas then you’re more likely to do a lot of shopping at Super Mini Luperon. Located right at the main entrance in Pueblito Norte, the simple fact that it’s in easy walking distance from so many condos and is open late in the evening makes it incredibly convenient.
You’ll find a small selection of fresh fruits and vegetables here, along with staple foods like eggs and milk. Their dairy selection is decent, as is their selection of fruit juices.
There are a few small aisles of canned and packaged goods, as well as some cleaning and laundry products. If it’s a basic essential, it’s probably available here and their available options in beers and spirits are also quite good.
