On our stay in Cienfuegos we tried out all these great things to do, activities and tours. Here is our guide to the best things to do while youre holidaying in Cienfuegos.
Not so many people travel to Cienfuegos, choosing Trinidad and Vinales first, but we really liked Cienfuegos. The town is flat with clean pretty streets and lots of beautiful old buildings. The main drag is the Prado with a lovely boardwalk running down the middle, a bit like the Prado in Havana but much longer. Then there is the very pretty boulevard lined with shops and closed to traffic.
The boulevard leads you down to Parque Marti where you can see the stunning old theatre, take a city tour on the train or hook up to the WiFi in the park.
We were busy the whole time we were in Cienfuegos, our day trip out to the fort and beach at Rancho Luna was great, seeing the flamingoes on another day, the palace and Punta Gunda is worth a visit too. Click on any of the photos below to get a detailed information on each activity in Cienfuegos.
