While it is not the cheapest option for a fun time in Lanzarote, it does get less expensive with more players. The game is available in either English or Spanish and reservations are recommended but are not required. Website Freely Go All Organic If you're wanting to learn a bit of agricultural history on your trip, the Museo Agricola el Patio is an ideal place to visit. Without a tour guide or a tour bus, you're free to explore the land on your own time with the help of a property map. Wine and cheese are also available for tastings on the site. All the tools and facilities of an old farm are present to take you back in time to what it really would have been like to work on or run a farm in Lanzarote. Website Get All Soft and Silky The Museo de Aloe is a small, quiet museum with free admission that's dedicated to describing the different attributes, cultivation, and history of the aloe plant in Spain. There are exhibits to watch informative videos about the medicinal properties of aloe, as well as the harvest and production of aloe gel. There are also a wide variety of different products that you could try in the museum as well. If you're traveling with kids, try playing a game of spot the aloe plant on the drive home. Hint: They're everywhere!Website Put on Your Pirate Hat The Museo de la Pirateria details the history of piracy in a fun, engaging way for both children and adults. There are a variety of displays and mini-movies that explain the history of piracy in Lanzarote, plus a gift shop full of Lanzarote souvenirs. With a low ticket price and wonderful views of Teguise, it makes for a wonderful quick stop if you're looking for a historical and fun adventure. You may want to get a taxi ride up the castle from town though as it's a steep,1.5 km (1 mi) walk uphill. Website Start Humming a Very Old Tune There are eleven rooms in total in The Casa Museo Palacio Spínola which provide insights into the lives of nobles in older Spain and a glimpse into architecture, life, and musical culture. It's no coincidence either that the museum is located in Teguise's aged city plaza, where the cobblestone streets and colonially designed buildings already create an old-world ambiance. Currently, the museum also hosts the Casa del Timple exhibit dedicated to a Spanish guitar-esque instrument (the timple); an essential component in traditional Spanish music and cultural folk tales. Website Get Down Right Naked If you're looking for a picturesque naturist spot on your next vacation, the Piscinas Naturales Coloseo at Charco del Palo is a great option. Stay in either of two resorts or go for a more low-key option with a villa or an apartment rental. It's also one of the best sites in Spain for scuba diving as well and a long coastline suitable for beach activities. Note: this is not recommended for those uncomfortable being around other naked people.
