It also has two beautiful lakes namely, Kayangan and Barracuda known for its thermoclines and fabled gigantic barracudas.

Busuanga is likely a miniature version of Palawan surrounded with smaller islands in close range. Resorts can arrange boat rentals, or you can head down to the market and a boat captain, generally it can accommodate 6 passengers at a time. The tourists can also buy ingredients like fish, meat and request the captain to barbecue or cook them in a group.

The caves out there are big and deep where the tourists are allowed only till the mouth of the cave. the towering dark wall of the cave after the beach, at its base has two openings that leads to the guts of the mountains, further leads to an entry towards a chamber of the cave, its floor has a cracked opening providing a glimpse towards the cold crystal water which filled its miniature lakes. The ceiling and the rocks provide beauty to the cave. The island doesn’t ask for attention, but it’s over powering for the tourists and is beautiful in its own way.

It got its name as Black island from the dark coloured karst cliffs and is surrounded with wide bed of glittering white sand. The beach is soft and supple and is shaped beautifully by the wind and waves. There is a coral garden near the shore, which has ships submerged during the world war. Black doesn’t seem to be inviting to few visitors nor as a name for an island, but this paradise is beautiful because of its colour, which attracts the eyes of the visitors and makes black the colour of beauty.

Island is an ivory of a beautiful beach with greenery and pleasantness surrounding the beach, where as the caves connecting them are less pleasing, black in colour but has its own unique beauty. Together it makes Busuanga a beautiful place to visit and spend time peacefully.
