Sehzade Mosque

Built between 1544-1548 the Sehzade (Mehmet) Mosque was erected in memory of Mehmet, the son of Sultan Suleyman who died at a very young age. Located between Fatih and Beyazit, the mosque has a large and plain look inside and also the tomb of Mehmet in the garden is also beautiful with it tiled decoration. It is one of the most popular mosques in Istanbul.
