The Cathedral on Parque Marti is pretty special with it’s 2 bell towns of differing sizes. Take a look at the beautiful French stained glass woindows, paintings and the large lateral windows dedicated to the 12 disciples.
We thought this cathedral was pretty impressive, we noticed the excellent craftsmen’s work in the sanctuaries, altars and confessionals together with all the works of art and other decorative items around.
The smaller bell tower was first built in 1819 with the second bigger structure added in 1833, it’s really old and very well preserved.
Take a look in the evening if youre around, the lights inside make it look so beautiful, there were locals singing when we popped in.
Great place to have a look around, it’s free.
