Jardin Botanico de Vinales

We’d heard the Botanical Gardens in Vinales were pretty good, so we decided to check them out. Entry is free with donation. You get a guided tour around the well established, lovely gardens.

We had a bit of trouble finding the car park to the botanical gardens and ended up down the road a bit. Apparently there is parking right next door, but we still couldn’t see any. The entrance is quite small, just a gate inbetween a big bush, you could miss it pretty easily. Once through the gate you’re be warmly greeted by your friendly guide whose english is very good.

There is no entry fee, just a donation at the end. I can’t remember how big he said the gardens were, but it’s a big place, with a small restaurant inside too. The gardens are well shaded and very interesting, lots of tropical plants and fruits to inspect.

The guided tour takes around 20mins and ends with a yummy slice of fresh pinapple.

Our Opinion

With no entry fee, just a donation, your guided tour is well worth it. You’ll see lots of interesting tropical plants and fruits.
