PDC has plenty of nightlife and many boats tours leaving from old town harbor. Our tourist map makes finding activities, attractions and entertainment very easy to locate.

Several beaches adorn the coastline and are they a hotbed for water sport activities, while diving excursions are done right in town by Playa Chica.

Designed by Ron Kirby this course offers palm tree background with lush greens, gullies and undulating hills. The fairways are wide and generous to a golfer’s handicap, while the uphill drives, hidden lake, and volcanic rocks add in unique challenges.

The biodiversity found on the course includes plenty of birds, rabbits, and lizards. The course also has an extensive number of plant species and unique trees like the spineless yuccas and date trees. At Hoyo 19, you find a nice terrace restaurant with a wonderful view of the Atlantic Ocean.

Gran Karting

At 1.3 km, Gran Karting Lanzarote offers the largest go-karting track in Europe. Kids aged 5-10 years have a separate track with electric carts, while Juniors (ages 10 – 16 years) get to ride on the senior track with a GKC 160 cc kart.

Those 16+ can ride a 270cc Honda kart with speeds up to 80 km per hour. Marshalls can also upgrade you to a CRG 390cc kart if you pass their eye test. Bragging rights are listed on the big board where all laps times are displayed.

Jurassic Kingdom Crazy Golf

A rooftop, 12-hole mini-golf course that has a prehistoric dinosaur theme complete with sound effects and an erupting volcano.

During the day you can also see the coastal views while playing, but it’s best enjoyed by night when the course is fully illuminated and the sights and sounds more vivid.

Patinaje Ice Skating

A small synthetic ice rink that can be enjoyed year-round, and is best suited for kids.

Skate rentals are provided with entrance along with helmets, safety bars, and knee and arm protection if needed. The sunset views can also make it more worthwhile.

Similar to bumper cars with the course being the Patinaje ice skating rink. There’s a not lot of room to maneuver, but small children would enjoy it along with parent who can ride along and play backseat driver.

A drag show filled with glamorous looking men dancing up a storm, singing old-time favorites, and doing comedy routines. The show is suitable for those both young and old and is vastly different from the entertainment found on resorts. Dinner includes a 3-course meal with free-flowing beer, wine, sangria, and soda pop. Once the show starts though, so does the drink tab.

Rooftop Biosfera

A leisure center atop the roof of the Biosfera Plaza that offers an open air cinema, virtual reality simulator, synthetic ice rink and a dinosaur themed mini-golf course with matching restaurant. There’s also another jazz restaurant with gorgeous sea views of Fuerteventura along with a DJ on Fridays and live music on Sundays.

The crown jewel of the Biosfera rooftop is the open-air cinema where you can watch a movie under the stars. Seating consists of sofas, bean bags, fully-reclined loungers and upright chairs with footrests. The audio headphones have both English and Spanish settings and snacks along with dinner or drinks can be ordered directly to your seat.

A soft play area located at the Lost World Cafe with a mini-slide and assortment of dinosaur related toys for small children to enjoy. Parents can easily track and watch from the open-air picnic tables with sun umbrellas.


Popular beaches in Puerto del Carmen include; Playa Grande, Matagorda, and Los Pocillos. The beachfront along Avenida de las Playas is covered with quality seafood restaurants, cafes, bars, nightclubs, discos, shopping centers, car rentals and more.
