Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the capital city of Tenerife and situated on a large natural bay in the north part of Tenerife. Santa Cruz de Tenerife is also the second most populated city of the Canary Islands. There are about 200,000 inhabitants in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Pilar street is a popular street and place where the another 18th century church stands. Pilar street leads to one of the finest places in Santa Cruz de Tenerife; that is the park of Garcia Sanabria where lush trees from all over the world stand out from dense exotic vegetation.

As for beaches in Santa Cruz de Tenerife; the Playa de las Teresitas beach is a popular golden sandy beach of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and also one of the best beaches on the north part of Tenerife.

As for nightlife in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, most discotheques and pubs are located in the Marina park. Santa Cruz de Tenerife is also famous for its lively carnival seasons especially in February and March.
