It is possible to get to Tenerife by sea from the city of Cadiz in Spain and via Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Trasmediterranea (www.trasmediterranea.es; Phone: 902 454 645) is the ferry company for travelling via Cadiz. There are regular ferries once a week from Cadiz to Arrecife, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and La Palma.
There are also regular ferries between the other islands of the Canaries.
