NYE Galas & Balls in Istanbul

The New Year’s eve galas and balls in Istanbul are generally black-tie affairs held in the finest and most luxurious hotels in the city. If you’re looking for delectable dishes, fine wines and high-end entertainment, these are places to be.

Pera Palace

The tradition at this hotel is that every year, they hold a luxurious dinner later followed by a state of the art party. The ballroom of this legendary hotel has been the venue for many of these parties. The classical dinners and parties here offer you a unique experience of the 20s and 30s glamor.

Unforunately, only dinner tickets are available in 2020 at €130 per person with the gala being cancelled to to covid-19.

The 2019 dinner, the menu included: chickpea soup served with porcini mushrooms. Seafood platter, turkey stuffed with squash flower and pumpkin puree. Filet mignon marinated with fresh spices, lamb chops, and dessert. For drinks, you get to enjoy unlimited alcoholic drinks as well as non-alcoholic soft drinks.

The Tayla Koraz orchestra entertained at the 2019 gala along with with a variety of Turkish and foreign pop songs, jazz, salsa, and classical music. The after-party was handled by a skilled DJ who mixed in popular national and international hits throughout the night.

Ciragan Palace

If you’re dreaming big for New Year’s Eve, you might as well dream of partying in a palace. Not only do you get restaurant seating on the Bosphorus, but you get a beautiful view of the fireworks in a majestic setting.

Their Laledan Restaurant Package starts at 550 € for a Park Side Room or 630 E for Bosphorus Room Pricing includes a two-night stay, a festive Italian buffet dinner, and a New Years Day brunch with over 300 options.

Their Tugra Restaurant Package starts at 580 € for a Park Side Room or 670 € for a Bosphorus Room Pricing includes a two-night stay, a glass of fine champagne, a 5-course set menu dinner, and a New Years Day brunch with over 300 options.

Four Seasons Bosphorus

The details are a little slim so far for their Bosphorus Ballroom Gala as there’s only mention of it including a five-course dinner, drinks, music, and a live dance show, along with New Year’s Day brunch at their Aqua Restaurant.

Their Mysterious Garden Gala @ Aqua Restaurant is truly a mystery as there’s only mention of it including a special six-course menu, a glass of Prosecco and New Year’s Day brunch.

At their 2019 Gala, they offer detailed info about the bands playing, as well a detailed menu which was quite delightful. Let’s hope they update their Facebook Event Page soon, so we can know what’s happening this year.

Presidental Hotel

The New Years Ball at The Presidental Hotel features dinner with a rich appetizer plate, seafood crepes and the main course of baked turkey with chestnut and rice. Desserts include sorbet with mint, and rotte gruzze served with red berries and vanilla sauce.

Harkan Kartal headlines the night’s entertainment along with belly dancer show, orchestra, and a DJ performance.

Unlimited local drinks, as well as coffee and tea are included.

The cost is 90 € per person for entrance to the Marmara Ball Room, but a hotel stay is extra. Room options range from 105-120 € with an extra 15 € if including breakfast.
