Sempione Park

It’s true Milan isn’t London when talking about the parks but with more than 50 parks, there are some really amazing parks. One of them nested almost in the very center, few blocks from Duomo Square, is Parco Sempione (Sempione Park), extending on the north side of Castello Sforzesco ( (Sforza Castle in English).

This is my favorite park and definitely one of the most refreshing free places to visit. You can stroll around the park having a picnic and taking an aperitif break in one of fancy bars just behind the Arco della Pace (triumphal Arch of Peace), along Corso Sempione street.
